The cell structure and mechanical properties ensure that Polyclear sheets are extremely impact resistant and lightweight with excellent insulation. Thanks to X-structure, the sheet is 250 times stronger than glass of the same thickness. Polyclear also offers excellent fire protection qualities through its high temperature resistance and the self-extinguishing properties of the polycarbonate material.
Polyclear 16/32 mm is highly resistant against hail (hailstones with a diameter of up to 4 cm) and is available in an opal or a clear version.
